Liverpool Slump further

Things just don’t seem to be working for Champions Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp as Yesterday Liverpool were beaten by Leicester City 3-1 at the King Power Stadium.The first-half ended 0-0 with Liverpool’s Sadio Mane coming close and Foxes’ Jamie Vardy hitting the post and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick also hitting the post.

In the Second half Liverpool broke the deadlock in the sixty-seventh minute when Mohammed Salah scored for Liverpool after being assisted by Roberto Firmino. In the Seventy-eighth minute James Maddison cored from a free-kick to level the terms for the home side and then two minutes later Jamie Vardy was in as Allison made another scruff of a long ball as he came out of the box to clear the ball first time but failed in connecting with the ball and the ball fell to Vardy who ran towards and empty net and scored.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City maintained their unbeaten record and extended it to 16 games and Cityzens also have a game in hand.

Manchester City started the game with dominating possession and in the twnety third minute Gabriel Jesus’ diagonal pass found Ilkay Gundogan who was brought down by Pierre Emile Hojbjerg in the Spurs box although Gundogan could not control the ball but referee decided to point to the spot.Rodri Hernandez scored from the spot a penalty which Hugo Lloris should have saved but it was 1-0 to City.

Gundogan scored five minutes into the second half as Raheem Sterling,Phil Foden and Gundogan linked around the Tottenham box exchanging passes and then Sterling placed a beauty of a pass between Davidson Sanchez and Tanguy Ndombele as Gundogan arrived late into the box to finish past Lloris.

In the sixty-sixth minute Ederson Moares became the assist provider as he floated a long ball to the Tottenham box which was controlled and finshed by Gundogan.
