Everton lose, Leeds draw- Yesterday night football results from Premier League GW 9

Everton were the surprise losers on the night when they were trampled over by Watford by a shocking 5-2 margin. Tom Davies scored just 3 minutes from the start of the game before Joshua King equalized. Richarlison put the Toffees in front but Watford then scored 4 on the trot.

This included a hat-trick from King, who was an unused benchwarmer during his time at Goodison Park. As for results elsewhere, goals from two Chelsea academy graduates in Tino Livramento and Armando Broja were enough to hand Southampton a 2-2 draw against Burnley, where Maxwel Cornet scored a brace.

A late Rodrigo penalty saved a draw for Leeds United against Wolves, while Callum Wilson’s goal for Newcastle United cancelled out Christian Benteke’s opener at Selhurst Park in a 1-1 draw. It was an eventful game with 27 goals in 6 matches, and hardly anyone can complain with the results on the day.
