Yesterday night football results-Manchester United held by Newcastle, Bournemouth go top after QPR win, Besiktas petrified by Konyaspor

The day after Boxing day, stunned Manchester United fans as they were held by 19th position Newcastle and We at Alley Sports bring you the yesterday night football results.

Manchester United held by Newcastle
Ralf Rangnick’s scowl suggested that the Manchester United manager was suffering from terrible toothache for much of the evening. Rangnick’s disorganised team was repeatedly ripped apart by Allan Saint-attacking Maximin’s movements and Joelinton’s midfield prowess, rather than following the script and pressuring Newcastle into submission.
Although Edinson Cavani came off the bench to save United a point, Rangnick’s technical area interludes between Saint-seventh-minute Maximin’s goal and the Uruguayan’s 71st-minute equaliser may have been among his least comfortable.

Bournemouth go top after QPR win as Derby stun West Brom
Bournemouth beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0 to take top of the Championship. Dominic Solanke scored his 18th goal of the season. Bournemouth’s first win in six games lifted them over promotion rivals Fulham, while QPR’s Andre Dozzell was sent off in the dying minutes.

Besiktas petrified by Konyaspor
Besiktas who are sitting on the 9th position of the Turkish Super Lig were defeated by second position Konyaspor. Konyaspor who are seven points behind league leaders Trabzonspor are looking strong and defeating Besiktas they have put a stamp that they will give their all to win the title.
