Wolves have struggled to find form this season, after having a bright start to their Premier League campaigns post their promotion into the elite level of English football. The downfall has been shocking after they also managed to qualify for the Europa League a couple of seasons back, and were giving the traditional top 6 of English clubs a fight to the Champions League spots.

Wolves vs West Brom Preview

Wolves currently lie in the 12th position, as they compete with clubs like Arsenal, Leeds United and Aston Villa to have the slightest of chances to finish in the top half of the Premier League table. A poor domestic campaign, outlined by injuries to players like Raul Jimenez and Marcal, with the departure of a valuable player like Diogo Jota, it has been a down slide for the Wolves, who have just won 2 of their previous 5 Premier League, both against 2 of the bottom 3 clubs.

The 4-0 thrashing of Wolves was an eye-opener for Nuno Espirito Santos and his team, which exposed the flaws and if this kind of performances continue, it would become very difficult for the club to sustain in a competitive league like the Premier League. West Brom are destined to lose their Premier League status, with Wolves already being responsible for Sheffield United’s loss of their status. West Brom would be hoping to avoid defeat and play for pride as they continue to count their few days as a Premier League club.
