With rumours going around regarding Ronaldo switching clubs, especially linking him with a move to Manchester City- a club where Jorge Mendes is trying to get Ronaldo to join- fans were fearing the worst. As it turns out, it’s not a fitness issue or an injury to the Portuguese great.

Udinese went on to hold Juve to a 2-2 draw. Paulo Dybala and Juan Cuadrado fired the club 2 goals in front but their opponents scored twice in the second half to rescue the game. Ronaldo, whose contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in 2022, came on the pitch in the 60th minute to replace Alvaro Morata.
He nearly wrote himself into every newspaper’s headlines for another reason as he scored a 96th-minute winner to make the scoreline 3-2. He was even yellow-carded for taking his shirt off, but as it turned out, the goal was ruled out for offside. This may well be his last appearance for the Old Lady.
