The group stage of the UEFA Champions League saw some fascinating encounters through the months of September till December. It saw some shocking results with European heavyweights like FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund drop down to the UEFA Europa League, while tournament favourites like Manchester City, PSG and Real Madrid breezed past the group stage.
When will UCL start? Round of 16 dates
The Round of 16 commences from the week of 15th February onwards, with every week being 4 round of 16 games played. The Round of 16 would end in the middle of March, where the quarter final and semi final draw would be held on the 18th of March. The teams would battle it out for a place in the final, which is to be held in Saint Petersburg in May 2022.

Paris Saint Germain take on 13 times Champions League winners Real Madrid in the blockbuster game of the Round of 16. Liverpool take on the high flying Inter Milan, while Manchester United are tasked with a tricky opponent in La Liga giants Atletico Madrid. Premier League leaders Manchester City face a relatively easy opponent in Sporting Lisbon, while reigning champions Chelsea take on French club Lille FC.

Viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the game on the ITV and Sky Sports Network. The viewers in the United States can catch all the UEFA Champions League action on the CBS Sports network, the official broadcasters of Champions League football in North America.
The broadcast rights of UEFA Champions League in India have not been granted to the Sony Entertainment Network. Viewers in India can watch the games live on the Sony ESPN channels, and also watch the game on the Sony LIV App.
