Covid-19 is continuing to wreak havoc, The Omicron variant is spreading pretty fast in the United Kingdom and that has impacted a lot of teams this season. Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City are two teams hit hardest by it, but its effects are visible on many other teams. This has seen many PL games postponed already.

A total of five games have been postponed this weekend. Southampton vs Brentford, that was supposed to kick-off at St. Mary’s on Saturday, has been called off due to an outbreak in the Bee’s camp. Watford vs Crystal Palace was also supposed to kick off at the same time at Vicarage Road, but has also been postponed.
Another game that was due to kick off at 03:00 PM on Saturday, 18th December, between West Ham United and Norwich City is also called off. On games that were supposed to take place on Sunday, Everton vs Leicester City in an afternoon kick-off, is also called off due to an outbreak in the Foxes’ camp.
