Tottenham Hotspur vs Brentford, Match Preview

Spurs come into this game after recently putting to end a bad run of form. They recovered from a mid-season slump by beating Stoke City 1-3 in the Quarter-final of this competition and later defeating Leeds United 3-0. Harry Kane and Son Heung-min continued their devastating partnership against Leeds, with Toby Alderweireld also on the scoresheet. The win took Tottenham to 3rd in the Premier League, 4 points behind Liverpool and Man United.

Their opponents Brentford are also 3rd in the EFL Championship and have won 4 of their last 5 matches, including a 1-0 win over Newcastle United in the EFL Cup Quarter-Final. The Championship club would be hoping to continue their fairy-tale run in the Carabao Cup this year, by reaching the final for the first time in their history. The game will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London.
