10. Imran Khan’s decision in Semi final, Pak vs Nz, 1992:
Chasing 263 Pakistan struggling mid way, they needed 123 runs off last 90 balls. It was looking almost impossible at that moment. Pakistan had an experienced hard hitter Wasim Akram, but their Captain Imran Khan sent young talented Inzamam ul Haq to bat. Inzamam later scored 60 off 37 and got Pakistan through the line.
9. Craig McDermott bowling in Aus vs Ind, Group Stage ,1987
After posting a huge total of 270, Aussie bowling looked very ordinary as India posted 202 for 2 in 35 overs in reply. Then Aussie Captain Allan Border brought Craig McDermott in the attack who broke the partnership getting Sidhu wicket. Later he took Azharuddin, Ravi shastri, Vengsarkar. India lost the game by one run.
8. Sachin Tendulkar stumping Ind vs SL, Semi final, 1996:
SL qualified for the Semi final 1st time in the history of World Cup. Batting first they posted total of 251 on the board. Navjot Sidhu and Sachin posted 90-runs partnership and were looking very good. In the 23rd Over Sanath Jayasuriya beats Sachin pitching outside leg, Sachin was stumped and later India’s hopes were shattered due to that.
7. Clive Lloyd decision Wi vs Pak, Semi final, 1979:
Pakistan were chasing 294 easily, having partnership of 166 for 2nd wicket. Clive Lloyd told Colin Croft to bowl off stump to leg. Zaheer Abbas got out caught behind, then Pakistan collapsed and lost.
6. Jhonty Rhodes run-out, Rsa vs Pak, Group Stage, 1992:
Pakistan looked very strong in chasing 211, but in 31st Over Inzamam attempted for a single. Jhonty picked the ball and came to dodge the bails. That was a dramatic way to get out. Later Pakistan lost the match by 20 runs.
5. Mike Gatting dismissal Final Aus vs Eng, 1987:
Chasing 254, England were looking comfortable at 135 for 2. Allan border brought himself to bowl. Mike Gatting tried to reverse sweep but was magnificently caught by Greg Dyer. Later England lost the final by 7 runs.

Australia were cruising past in the final at 162 for 2 chasing 292. However, Ian Chappell got out by getting run out dramatically by Sir Viv Richards. Then Australia lost all wickets cheaply and lost the Final..
3. Herschelle Gibbs catch drop Aus vs RSA, Super six, 1999
Chasing 272, Australia were struggling at 48 for 3, Australian side Captain Steve Waugh came and was batting very well. On 56 he misjudged and slapped simple catch to Gibbs. Gibbs had caught it but when was about to celebrate he dropped that Catch. Later Australia went on and won the World Cup..
2. Wasim Akram over, Pak vs Eng, Final 1992
England were staggering at 69 for 4 while chasing 250 to lift the Trophy. Niel Fairbrother and Allan Lamb were rebuilding and keeping Eng in the game. Then Imran Khan gave Wasim Akram the 35th Over , he bowled 2 unplayable deliveries which bought Pakistan back in the game and Later they won their 1st ever World cup in 1992.
1. Kapil Dev Catch, Ind vs WI, Final 1983:
India managed to score only 183 in the final. Madan Lal pitched one short outside the off stump, Viv Richards got top edge. Kapil Dev was fielding at mid on and began to run and took astonishing catch. Later west Indies were unable to stop losing wickets and lost the final by 43 runs.
