Toni Kroos Curls in ‘Quick’ Corner Goal in Super Cup Semi Finals
In a bid to attempt the famous Trent Alexander Arnold’s ‘Corner Taken Quickly’, Toni Kroos inspired Real Madrid’s win over Valencia CF and marching towards the final of Spanish Super Cup.
Toni Kroos curled the ball from the corner during the 15th minute of Real Madrid’s fixture. When the Valencia Goalkeeper Jaume Domenech was busy organising and adjusting its defence for the corner. The ball flew over Jaume before he could knock it off, and went straight into the net.
The Other scorers were Isco & Luka Modric, both of who impressed the fans with their game. Isco was in top form and played one of his best games for Real Madrid. Valencia’s Dani Parejo scored a consolation goal at the 92′ minute, scoring a penalty. However, Real Madrid had already seal the victory and won by 3-1.
Real Madrid will now play the finals against the winner of the fixture between FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Valverde has sent a strong message of not underestimating Barcelona at all, even when the fixtures are tough. Valverde, who is on the verge of losing his job of managing the top Spanish side was shown in distress as he expressed his concern for the location and venue of the fixtures.
