High-flying Villa and Everton feature in today’s first two Premier League matches

Aston Villa have had a surprisingly good start to the season, garnering 12 points from 5 games. They will face an unpredictable Southampton at 5:30 PM IST, where a win will see Villa climb to 2nd spot.

Everton, who have had an even better start under new manager Carlo Ancelotti, travel to St. James’ Park to take on Newcastle at 7:30 PM IST. A win today would take Everton to the top of the Premier League table ahead of city rivals Liverpool on goal difference. Richarlison, Digne, Coleman, James Rodriguez will all miss out for Everton.

Two giants of English football collide once again as Manchester United face Arsenal in a titanic clash. Both teams have faced an uncertain start to the season as they find themselves in the bottom half the table, but a result today for either would act as the perfect boost if they are to fulfill their target of finishing in the top 4 of the table.

Anthony Martial for Manchester United is the only major name missing from today’s selection while Arsenal travel to Old Trafford without Rob Holding and Sokratis. Ole’s Red Devils are on a 4 match winning run, with their 5-0 mid-week victory in the Champions League vs. Leipzig being the latest. Arsenal, on the other hand, have won both their Europa League matches, but have had a highly uncertain start in the League, losing 3 out of their 6 matches already.

The match will be telecasted live on Star Sports HD/SD and Disney+Hotstar VIP for Indian viewers at 10:00 PM IST.

Tottenham and Brighton battle it out in today’s last Premier League match

Son, Spurs have lost just one of their first 6 league games, while Brighton have just won 1 out their six. The match will be telecasted early morning tomorrow at 12:45 AM IST.
