The Saints travel to Brighton & Hove Albion early next week and Alley Sport is here with Southampton Predicted lineup vs Brighton & Hove Albion with other details leading to the match.
Saints are in sixth position with 17 points and would have been in better position as they lost to Manchester United last weekend by 2-3 in a game which they had started strong by taking the lead after the first twenty-three minutes via Jan Berdnak and a James Ward-Prowse free kick. However, in the second half, Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani brace left them with 0 points after the match ended.
Brighton salvaged a point against the defending champions as Pascal Groß equalized from the spot kick in stoppage time after 90 minutes to cancel out Diogo Jota’s goal which put the Reds in lead in the sixtieth minute.

The pair have both been sidelined in recent weeks through injury with Ings, Saints’ most prominent absente currently recovering from knee surgery. Redmond, meanwhile, has been recovering from a hamstring problem during a season that has been plagued by injury.
The 26-year-old missed much of September with a knee problem and has struggled to hold down a place in Hasenhuttl’s side. Redmond and Ings have returned to training this week and the club are hopeful that both will be up for selection on Monday evening.
