Southampton duo Danny Ings and Nathan Redmond are ‘looking sharp’ as they ramp their recovery ahead of Monday night’s trip to Brighton, teammate Nathan Tella has revealed.
The pair have both been sidelined in recent weeks through injury with Ings, Saints’ most prominent absente currently recovering from knee surgery. Redmond, meanwhile, has been recovering from a hamstring problem during a season that has been plagued by injury.
The 26-year-old missed much of September with a knee problem and has struggled to hold down a place in Hasenhuttl’s side. Redmond and Ings have returned to training this week and the club are hopeful that both will be up for selection on Monday evening.
