Ruben Amorim

Ruben Amorim odds for being sacked from Manchester United increase

After losing to Brentford 3-1 away, the odds for Manchester United sacking Ruben Amorim have increased considerably. Manchester United next play newly promoted Sunderland on 4th October, who are in great form and will certainly pose a challenge to the Mancunians.

Ruben Amorim has continued his streak of not winning back to back Premier League games. He has only collected only 32 points in 35 matches. The odds for Ruben Amorim to be the next manager facing the sack have increased to 8/11 after their recent run of form.

Ruben Amorim to be the next manager to be sacked?

Manchester United’s next manager is yet to be discussed if Ruben Amorim was to leave. The club signed the Portuguese last year in November, and are unlikely to sack him before he completes one year at the club. Fabrizio Romano has hinted at Gareth Southgate among many names who could replace Ruben Amorim at Manchester United.

With 8/11 odds of being sacked, the future isn’t looking good for Ruben Amorim. He has failed to make any impact at Manchester United, who have more chances of getting relegated than to win the Premier League.

Not to forget, Graham Potter was recently sacked by West Ham United for their poor form and continued run of losses. While clubs are aiming higher and better, Manchester United look to be stuck in a rut with Ruben Amorim, who refuses to change his playing style or formation.

Manchester United Next Manager Probables

Premier League

Andoni Iraola, Marco Silva and Oliver Glasner are some of the names who could replace Ruben Amorim at Manchester United. Glasner has continued to win games for Crystal Palace, having won the FA Cup, the FA Community Shield and now beating Liverpool 2-1 in their recent fixture. Andoni Iraola has also performed well with AFC Bournemouth and Manchester United will definitely now want a Premier League proven manager.

The chances of Manchester United signing a non-Premier League manager are considerably low, after their recent appointment of Ruben Amorim has failed to bear any fruits. With Unai Emery also facing a possible sack from Aston Villa, he could be a potential name on the list to replace Ruben Amorim, but it feels unlikely.
