Rohit Sharma removes ‘Indian Cricketer’ from his Instagram Bio, Fans Suspect reason being his exclusion from the Indian Team

Indian star batsman Rohit Sharma was excluded from the Indian team’s all 3 squads for the Australia tour. BCCI announced Team India’s squads to face Australia for their year end tour yesterday, and the injured Rohit Sharma failed to find a place in the team.

Rohit Sharma has not been named in either of the T20I, ODI or Test sides after suffering a hamstring injury on October 18 in the match against Kings XI Punjab. He missed Mumbai Indians’ last two matches due to this reason but was seen hitting the nets just hours after India’s squad announcement.

BCCI rules state that any player who is carrying an injury cannot be considered for selection immediately. BCCI said that in a statement that both Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma will be monitored by the board which basically means that if they recover completely in time then they can travel to Australia and join the Indian contingent.

Rohit Sharma who is the vice-captain for team India in the limited overs format has always been a vital part of the team. KL Rahul has been named as the vice-captain in the absence of Rohit Sharma from the squad.
