Paris Saint Germain had a disappointing season in the 2020/21 campaign, which saw them losing out on the French Ligue 1 title to Rennes, while also failing to beat Manchester City in the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League. The losses in the last season has led to major revamps in the PSG camp, led by their director Nasser Al Khelaifi, who has promised the French fans of European glory, which has been long awaited by the Parisian club, since 2012, when this ambitious project racked up pace.

Paris Saint Germain has been one of the most successful team in the transfer season until now, after having confirmed the signings of Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan, Gini Wijnaldum and Sergio Ramos as free agents. The signings bring a wealth of experience to the club, especially with the signing of serial winner Sergio Ramos, who signed a 2 contract with the French club, to lead the side to their first European glory. Gini Wijnaldum is expected to balance out the midfield, while Achraf Hakimi is one of the most exciting young talents of football.

Gianluigi Donnarouma is expected to sign the club after his Euro final against the English, as the 22 year Italian brings long term prospective to the club, and has experience on the biggest stages of European football. Another rumor which has been floating in the market is that PSG has reignited their interest in Paul Pogba, especially with Pogba having a fantastic tournament, and the Manchester United midfielder apparently unhappy with the team.

Kylian Mbappe’s future with Paris Saint Germain is another regular story of the transfer season, however, things look much more clearer on Mbappe’s camp, with the French super star looks to leave the French club, speculated to join his boyhood dream club Real Madrid, as the Spanish giants are preparing to offer a lucrative deal to their next Galatico. Mbappe is likely to see out his contract, which has 1 year remaining, and sign for Real Madrid as a free agent next season, with PSG not willing their star striker to go out so easy.
