The Premier League is arguably the toughest league to play in. Thus, strikers who make it here are arguably already world class and the top scorers of the Premier League would automatically make themselves some of the best strikers in world football for that time.
So, who has the most Premier Leagues this calendar year? We will answer it in two parts for you, with the first section focusing on Premier League top scorers 2021 in the calendar year, and the other one will mention the top scorers of the 2021/22 PL season so far.

The list would obviously start with the most in-form attacker in England and perhaps Europe. Mohamed Salah of Liverpool leads the way with 24 goals in the calendar year of 2021. Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur is second with 16 goals, and he has fallen so far behind Mohamed Salah just this season considering the Englishman only has 2 league goals so far- including one against Salah’s Liverpool.
Diogo Jota of Liverpool rounds up our top three list of the top Premier League scorers in 2021 with 14 goals to his name during that time, which is impressive considering he has only played in 27 league games for the Reds in that time. Ilkay Gundogan of Manchester City is a surprise entrant with 14 goals as well, with Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho not far behind at 13 goals during that time.
Premier League top scorers 2021: who scored the most goals in PL in the 2021/22 season?
Before the start of Gameweek 20 in the 2021/22 Premier League season, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah leads the way for most PL goals this season with 15.
Following him in second is teammate Diogo Jota with 10, and Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy isn’t far behind at 9 goals for the Foxes this season. With so much hype around Harry Kane, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Romelu Lukaku this season, it is peculiar to see none of them in the top four of the list so far.
