Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was dealt with two injuries in their win against Burnley this week. Forward Anthony Martial has injured his hamstring and defensive midfielder Nemanja Matic, who was flawless at Turf Moor, has picked up a groin injury. The availability of these two players for the Liverpool fixture is a doubt. Victor Lindelof was dropped against Burnley after picking up a knock in training and it remains unclear whether the Swedish center-back will play against Liverpool.
Apart from this, Phil Jones is still not part of the squad, recovering from an injury, and new signing Facundo Pellistri is recovering from the corona virus.
Liverpool will be without a host of first-team players. Klopp will have to put out a Reds team against United that will not feature the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Joe Gomez or Naby Keita, who are all on the sidelines with injuries. New signings Kostas Tsimikas and Diogo Jota are also injured and not available for this game.

We expect Solskjaer to go with the 4-4-2 diamond formation, which he has deployed in the Premier League for a few games this season.
