Manchester United Predicted lineup vs Everton, Premier League Gameweek 8: Preview, head to head results and injury news

This Manchester United vs Everton game is one of the most unique in terms of how far they are from each other and how the roles have been reversed. Read on for Alley Sport‘s Manchester United Predicted Lineup (with a suspected manager change in the near future)

Manchester United Predicted Lineup vs Everton

David De Gea will most likely be the primary keeper after being given a break during the Champions league fixture against Basaksehir, where Dean Henderson was in front of goal.

The back 4 will likely remain the same with Maguire as captain and Tuanzebe, the handy man filling in for Lindelof who looks like he hasn’t recovered from a back strain yet.

Luke Shaw and Wan-Bissaka will take the left and right flanks as usual. Fred and Matic will be the 2 CDMS with Van De Beek will like to chip in from the bench in the second half. Martial returns from a 3 game ban and will play as the striker, while Bruno Fernandes, Greenwood and Rashford will take their rightful places behind him. Cavani and Daniel James are likely substitutes up front while other players like Mata and Lingard may come on if suitable.

Head to head vs. Everton

A fixture that dates back to more than a century has had numerous Manchester United Predicted Lineups prior to this but none had seen players affected by COVID prior to this. Both the teams seem to be out of form having suffered back to back losses.

Since the advent of the Premier League error, Man Utd have a better record having recorded 16 victories at Goodison Park but it’s a different team this time around with Don Carlo’s Everton. Last time around the teams ended on a 1-1 draw.

Injury woes affects the Manchester United Predicted lineup

Eric Bailly’s injury woes continue with a muscle injury. Phil Jones is expected only to return by December on road to recovery after his surgery. Victor Lindelof could sit this one out due to a bad back ache. Jesse Lingard on the other hand seems to be making good progress on his recovery and could see an appearance off the bench in the late stages of the game.
