Manager Pep Guardiola has said Aguero will not be rushed back from injury to face Liverpool, even if it means facing Jurgen Klopp’s side without a striker. However, Gabriel Jesus is back to full fitness and even scored a goal in their midweek match against Olympiacos, which they won 3-0.

The centre back pairing of Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte will be back to the starting lineup after being rested in their UCL clash. The wing backs will be Kyle Walker and a change on the left flank can see Oleksander Zinchenko start, after he also started in the midweek match.
