Manchester City Predicted lineup

Manchester City are without their star striker Sergio Aguero. Manager Pep Guardiola has said  Aguero will not be rushed back from injury to face Liverpool, even if it means facing Jurgen Klopp’s side without a striker. However, Gabriel Jesus is back to full fitness and even scored a goal in their midweek match against  Olympiacos, which they won 3-0.

Manchester City Predicted lineup vs Liverpool

The Manchester City Predicted lineup looks solid, at the goalkeeping spot will be Ederson as usual. The centre back pairing of Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte will be back to the starting lineup after being rested in their UCL clash. The wing backs will be Kyle Walker and a change on the left flank can see Oleksander Zinchenko start, after he also started in the midweek match.

The midfield will see Rodri start at the Central defensive midfielder role and ahead of him will be Kevin De Bruyne and an in form Ilkay Gundogan.  In the attack Guardiola will not seem to risk his freshly returned striker Gabriel Jesus and he will be a good option for him as a substitute. Ferran Torres has been in a scintillating form and his pace could be a threat for a Liverpool defence with absence of their talisman defender Virgil Van Dijk. Torres will start at the striker’s spot like he did in the UCL match and at the right flank will be Riyad Mahrez, with Raheem Sterling at his opposite flank.

The Manchester City predicted lineup reasons them well to go in a 4-3-3 formation against Liverpool
