Man City team news
Pep has received double boost as Kevin De Bruyne is back who made an appearence from the bench in City’s 3-1 win vs Everton and in form mid-fielder Ilkay Gundogan who was substituted after being injured in the same game is set to return for this game vs the Gunners.
Gundogan has scored 11 goals in 11 last 11 games for City and is being touted one of the best in the league at the moment. But after stellar performance vs Tottenham where the German got a brace was forced off in the later part of the game but Pep has ensured about his return.
Pep had said “He is much(Gundogan), much better. It is not a big issue, but to avoid risk [against Everton], we have given him a few more days to recover”.
“But for Arsenal and Borussia Monchengladbach he should be ready. Of course Gundo is exceptional. We spoke about that. If you want to win titles and finals we need the whole squad.”
In attack Sergio Aguero is back on the bench with Pep taking it slowly with him as he has no intentions of rushing him into playing.
John Stones and Oleksandr Zinchenko were both unused substitutes against the Toffees and could come into the back four.
