Romelu Lukaku arrived in English football with much fan fare, scoring on his second debut with the Blues against Arsenal. The Belgian was brought in to solve the much discussed striking issue with the European champions, as Timo Werner did not live up to his potential in the last season. Romelu Lukaku went off injured in the UEFA Champions League match against Malmo FC last week, and fans want an update on the return of the star striker.

Timo Werner is also currently absent for the Blues, as he too suffered from an injury in the match against Malmo FC last week. Chrisitian Pulisic remains on the sidelines for the Blues, with much anticipation around his return probably in the game against Newcastle. Other huge blows to Chelsea include problems with N’Golo Kante and Cesar Azpilicueta, but they are not ruled out for long term, while Andreas Christensen will return back post his tooth ache issue last week. Ruben Loftus Cheek also is a doubt with a hip injury.
Lukaku Injury Update: Expected Return Date for the Belgian
Romelu Lukaku suffered from a strained ankle in the game against Malmo, an injury which looked to rule out the Belgian for atleast a couple of months. However, Romelu Lukaku, is making good progress, and would be back to action for the Blues in the month of November, with the Belgian faces a race to fitness before the international break, but looks to be fit for the game against Leicester City on the 20th of November. Lukaku has scored 3 goals in his 7 appearances yet for the Blues this season.
