Liverpool Predicted lineup

Liverpool will host West Ham United at Anfield this weekend, and here we have a look at the Liverpool predicted lineup. The reds will be looking to win their fourth game in succession for Saturday’s Premier League showdown. The West Ham side have been exbhibiting a marvelous display this season and are unbeaten in their last four. Jurgen Klopp faces a number of injury problems and selection dilemmas to contend with for the visit of the Hammers.

Liverpool’s injury woes

Liverpool’s defensive woes have only worsened with Fabinho also being injured, as if Liverpool did not have enough defensive concerns with Virgil van Dijk potentially out for the season. Fabinho limped off injured in their UCL clash in the midweek and has a hamstring injury, his return time is still not determined but he is sure to miss their next match.

With Joel Matip’s fitness also dicey, 19-year-old Rhys Williams could follow up his Champions League outing with a first-ever Premier League start in front of Alisson, whose quick return to the fold has been a huge boost for Liverpool amid a daunting run of fixtures. The fullback pair of Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson will start along with the centre back pairing of Rhys Williams and Joe Gomez.

Georginio Wijnaldum is expected to return to his familiar position in Liverpool’s midfield three, meaning that Xherdan Shaqiri will probably drop back down to the bench. James Milner is also likely to start again. Both Naby Keita Thiago Alcantara are in doubts to play in their match against West Ham. Jordan Henderson is fit to start as confirmed by Klopp himself

Jurgen Klopp’s forward trio of Mohammed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane were all on the bench in their UCL clash, with two upcoming difficult fixtures against Atalanta and Manchester City. Klopp has big decisions to make for who will start in his attacking line in their next clash.

However, the prolific front three are all likely to start here regardless and thats’s why they make a spot in our Liverpool Predicted lineup for this weekend.

Mohd. Salah was pictured hobbling down the tunnel after Tuesday’s win, the Egyptian’s issue is not thought to be serious and he is expected to return to the fold at the weekend.
