The St. Mary’s outfit enter this game in hopes of a turnaround in their fortunes, after failing to win in their last 4 league outings.

Liverpool have a long list of injuries to deal with. The recent injury of central defender Joel Matip added to their problems. However, they had some positive news elsewhere, with summer signing Thiago Alcantara making his first appearance for the Reds since the Merseyside derby on October 17 this year.

The hosts would be without towering centre-back Jannik Vestergaard, who is out with a knee injury. Midfielder Nathan Redmond is also an injury doubt.
