Leeds predicted lineup vs Brighton and Hove Albion: Match Preview

Leeds United suffered a humiliation in the FA Cup 3rd Round against fourth-divison Crawley Town, who defeated Bielsa’s men 3-0. Nicholas Tsaroulla opened the scoring for the minnows after converting a header from Ashley Nadesan. A couple of minutes later, Nadesan converted from the right side of the box off a pass from Tom Nicholls to double Crawley Town’s lead. Bielsa brought on Raphinha and Sam Greenwood to change the game, but in vain as Jordan Tunnicliffe completed the rout with a right-footed shot from close range after a set piece situation.

The defeat has knocked Leeds out of the FA Cup and their fans will surely be disappointed, after having expectations of a deep run in the prestigious cup competition this season. Bielsa will be hoping for a strong reaction from his side as they face a downtrodden Brighton and Hove Albion later this week.

Brighton have failed to win a game of football since November 21 when they beat Aston Villa in the Premier League. Their next clash, against Manchester City before the Leeds game, will see them go against a team that has not lost for a month and a half. Hovering above the relegation zone, defeats against both City and Leeds would be a deafening blow for the Seagulls.
