Last night football results

A good night of football as we saw some amazing goals being scored on the pitch yesterday. Last night football results were a little upsetting for some though

F.C Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid (2-2)

F.C Barcelona played a third consecutive draw in the league. Real Madrid are now 1 point clear of them with a match in hand. Sounds awful for the Cules. The match could’ve ended as 2-1 for Barca, but a controversial penalty for a foul on Yannick Ferreira Carrasco helped Atletico seal a draw.Last night football results leave Barcelona on the mercy of luck for Real to drop points. Lionel Messi scored a Panenka penalty to get to his 700th goal in style. It took him 112 matches less than Cristiano Ronaldo to achieve the feat.

Manchester United vs Brighton and Hove Albion (3-0)

Bruno Fernandes and Pogba celebrating
Bruno and Pogba celebrating

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems to have found his rythm with United going 8 PL matches unbeaten now. The much awaited duo of Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes are to credit. The midfield now seems solid with the duo and you know what they say

” Midfield wins you matches”

The results speak for it. Mason Greenwood opened the scoring early on in the game with a sensational solo dribble into the box. He finished with a fine low shot heading straight to the back of the net. Bruno Fernandes struck the net twice. His first goal came with a deflected shot and the second one was a poachers finish.

Juventus vs Genoa (3-1)

Here we saw a GOLAZO GALORE. 3 sensational strikes from Paulo Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo and Douglas Costa left Genoa helpless. Nothing they could do about those out of the world strikes. Juventus dominated the whole game only letting Genoa attempt 2 shots in the whole game. They got a consolattion goal at 76th minute when 21 year old Andrea Pinamonti scored past Wojciech Szczęsny. A fitting result for the Old Lady maintaining their gap up top on the Serie A table.
