Winless in 4 matches, Netherlands host Spain at the Johan Cruijff Arena in a much anticipated friendly. Alley Sport brings you the Spain predicted lineup from the biggest of the International football fixtures this week, as they face the Netherlands.
Netherlands and Spain have had some memorable recent World Cup encounters. Spain beat Netherlands in a closely contested 2010 World Cup final, while the Netherlands assassinated the ‘tiki-taka’ style of football once and forever when they beat the Spaniards 5-1 in the 2014 World Cup group stages.
While just a friendly, this proves to be an exciting battle nonetheless. Netherlands will be desperate for a win after Frank de Boer’s side is yet to win a match in their last 4 tries. Spain on the other hand, will be looking to bounce back after a shock 1-0 defeat to Ukraine.

Barcelona’s superstar teenager Ansu Fati, and veteran right-midfielder Jesus Navas, have dropped out of the squad. In Navas’ place, Arsenal’s right-back Hecter Bellerin has been included.
Marcos Llorente might be used in an advanced role up the pitch, while Spain manager Luis Enrique will be without injured Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara. With Leeds United’s Rodrigo Moreno not involved, this may be an opportunity for Alvarto Morata to start. In goal, we may see David de Gea get another cap.
