According to RTP Sports, a supposedly reliable outlet in Spain, claims that Messi has won the Ballon d’Or for this calendar year. The paper claims that he has beaten the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Mohamed Salah, and Cristiano Ronaldo for the award and is now a 7-time winner of the award.

A leaked image shows the apparent standings for this year’s award. Messi, according to the list, is the clear winner over Robert Lewandowski and Real Madrid superstar, Karim Benzema.
