There are confirmed cup-related blanks in Gameweeks 24, 25 and 27, meanwhile, with more to follow in Gameweeks 30 and 33.

The good news is that, while more Covid-related postponements can’t be completely ruled out, falling positive cases and the Premier League tightening of rules for match cancellations should mean this is much less of a danger than before.

FPL Gameweek 25 Players

Fantasy Premier League managers have been given a lift when a pair of well-known players were given the green light to return to action ahead of the next round of fixtures.

COVID-19 absences and postponements have plagued this year’s Fantasy Football season, making the end-of-season stretch even more difficult to negotiate than usual, with games being rescheduled on a regular basis.

Two well-known figures, on the other hand, may be on their way back. To begin with, Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed Tino Livramento’s comeback from a knee injury that has kept him out since late December. Previously in almost every manager’s team, the right-back’s selection has dropped to just 10% since his injury, but he has now returned, meaning that that number should shoot up again soon.

Heung-min Son has returned to training after missing two Premier League matches due to a hamstring problem. This is further good news for FPL supporters. With more favourable Tottenham matchups on the horizon and plenty of double gameweeks to come, it could be a good opportunity to bring him back into the fold, with only 12% ownership.
