COVID issues aside, the week offers us some lucrative fixtures including Chelsea travelling to Villa, Man City hosting Leicester and Man Utd’s trip to Newcastle. However, the most enticing and COVID-free fixture among all has to be Liverpool hosting Leeds. With the Merseyside Reds in blistering form and Leeds faltering, this may be the perfect opportunity to rely on Liverpool’s big guns to chalk up points on the board. West Ham are also at home against a Southampton team in a bad place at the moment and thus look promising too.

Keeping all that in mind, we have come up with the best possible formation and players for you. Here is what we want you to go with for the week ahead.

FPL Gameweek 19 Lineup: (Formation: 4-5-1)

DEF: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool vs Leeds United)

FPL Gameweek 19 Tips and Tricks: Transfers

It is very difficult to see and predict when and where might COVID suddenly strike and postpone fixtures. So, it might be a good time to make a few changes and invest in some budget options to rotate using your free transfers.

As always, Liverpool players look the most promising. However, with Salah and Mane departing for the AFCON soon, it might be a better option to get just one of the 2 African superstars in for the time being. If Man City and Arsenal’s fixtures do go ahead, it could be a smart move to get their squad options in, including Emile Smith-Rowe and Raheem Sterling. We advise against getting any Chelsea players in at the moment with difficult fixtures and bad form to blame.

FPL Gameweek 19 Tips and Tricks: Chips

Yes, there are double gameweeks ahead, but with COVID impacting a lot of fixtures this gameweek, it might be a safe bet in playing your Free Hit chip to rotate the pack just this time around. Bench Boost could be valuable too if you don’t have the free transfers but already have bench options ready. If you choose otherwise, there will soon be double matchweeks, and that is where the the other chips should be used. Bench Boost should also be saved for a week that sees multiple players play in two matches in the same gameweek.

So for this particular GW, we advice you to rotate using one of your chips, or just use that extra boost from the bench, if you like to play it safe. Make smart choices, and prosper. All the best, fellow FPL managers!
