FPL Gameweek 16 Tips and Tricks: Full Lineup
With none of the big guns facing off against each other, Gameweek 16 provides the ideal opportunity to bring in the heavy artillery in midfield and increase gains. All the teams embroiled in a fierce battle at the top of the league have a relatively kind fixture list, with Manchester City vs Wolves, Chelsea vs Leeds and Liverpool vs Villa all the kind of fixtures from which we can expect goals, and hence points aplenty.
The Gameweek also provides us a significant opportunity to use our budget picks, with Leicester, West Ham and Tottenham all favoured for wins against lower-ranked opposition. Keeping all that in mind, we have come up with the best possible formation and players for you. Here is what we want you to go with for the week ahead.

FPL Gameweek 16 Tips and Tricks: Transfers
A strong boost provided by the appointment of a new manager with a modern, attacking philosophy combined with a relatively easy fixture list coming up, now is the time to get in Manchester United attackers into your team. Be it FPL mainstay Bruno Fernandes or youngsters Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford, our advice would be to get atleast one of them into your lineup, with long-term rewards being likely.
As far as easy fixture lists go, United’s crosstown rivals City too don’t face a direct rival until January and it could prove profitable in the long run to invest in City’s midfield. With the goals spread out in Pep Guardiola’s team, Bernardo Silva and İlkay Gündoğan look to be involved most banging in assists and goals on the regular and its time to get them in if you haven’t already. Joao Cancelo could prove a valuable luxury defender to have.
FPL Gameweek 16 Tips and Tricks: Chips
Even though the gameweek looks promising, it is best to save all the wildcards for when things really get interesting. There will soon be double gameweeks, and that is where the Free Hit and Triple Captain chips should be used. Bench Boost should also be saved for a week that sees multiple players play in two matches on the same gameweek.
So for this particular GW, we advice you to save everything for later, unless you plan to bring the Manchester heavyweights into your lineup. Make smart choices, and prosper. Happy hunting, fellow managers!
