FPL Gameweek 14 Tips and Tricks: Transfer

One long-term advice we will give you is to do away with Cristiano Ronaldo. At 12.4, we really expect a player who smashes goals week in, week out. Moreover, with Ralf Rangnick’s eventual appointment, the Portuguese should see reduced gametime. There is also no better time to get in Marcos Alonso, the Spaniard will play now with Ben Chilwell injured.

Another piece of tip we would offer is to cash in on a Manchester City player. They have an easy run of games and with a few injuries here and there, it seems that Gabriel Jesus will be trusted up front more often than not. In defence, having at least one of Reece James (6.1) and Trent Alexander-Arnold is a must with them banging in assists and goals on the regular. Joao Cancelo is another excellent option at 6.6.

FPL Gameweek 14 Wildcard: To play or not to play?

It is best to save all the wildcards for things really get interesting. There will be double gameweeks, and that is where the Free Hit and Triple Captain chips should be used. Bench Boost should also be saved for a week that sees multiple players play in two matches on the same gameweek.

So for this particular GW, we advice you to save everything for later. That is also when interest drops in the FPL and the weak get weeded out. Happy hunting!
