Spain make it to the finals of UEFA Nations League by a historic win over Germany and in some style by scoring six past them.

Alvaro Morata started the scoring on the 17th minute mark off a corner to make it his first international goal in over a year.

Ferran Torres, the Manchester City winger made it 2-0 soon after when he smashed in a half-volley past Neuer after Dani Olmo hit the post with his header.

Five minutes later it was 3-0 as another Manchester City player Rodri was on the scoresheet this time as he headed an excellent Fabian Ruiz cross.

Torres got the Break early in the second half when the speedy winger finished a off a quick Spain counter attack.

He then completed his first hat-trick after curling a low shot beating Neuer into the bottom corner.

Germany was on a 12 game unbeaten run but it ended last night. In the 89th minute Mikel Oyarzabal made it 6-0 with a tap-in.

Ferran Torres became the first player to score a hat-trick against Germany in a competitive game since Michael Owen in 2001.

Germany only needed a draw to qualify to the finals but the manner of this defeat may lead to question Joachim Low’ future as German Coach.

Football results last night France relegate Sweden

Sweden were relegated from League A after they were defeated by France last night 4-2.

Sweden made a decent start by scoring first and taking the lead when Viktor Claessen’s effort deflected off Raphael Varane for the game’s opening goal after just five minutes.

But France pulled a goal back after 10 minutes later when Olivier Giroud scored with a sharp left footed finish which was assisted by Marcus Thuram.

Les Bleus took the lead via Benjamin Pavard scored a volley giving nostalgia to his finish in the World Cup 2018 against Argentina.

In the second half Giroud scored again to make it 3-1 when he scored a powerful diving header from a cross by Mbappe, who made a late substitute appearance.

Robin Quasion tried to the reduce the deficit as he made it 3-2 but in the 95′ minute Kingsley Coman made it 4-2.

Football results last night Croatia Survive with 10 men

Portugal defeated Croatia in a five goal game which ended 3-2.

Croatia were not relegated due to the Sweden’s defeat at the hands of France and they were up on goal difference.

Mateo Kovacic started the scoring in the 29th minute. Croatia were reduced to 10 men when Marko Rog brought down Cristiano which earned Rog his second yellow card and came marching orders from the referee.

Free-kick which resulted from the foul, Cristiano forced a save from Dominik Livakovic but Ruben Dias pounced on the opportunity to convert the rebound.

Potugal’s third goal was cancelled as VAR detected a hand ball in the build up. Ruben Dias scored his second right before full time when Livakovic dropped a cross and Dias found the net.

Portugal were guaranteed second place in Group A before the game began.
