4). Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of reaching a full agreement with Edson Álvarez on personal terms. The contract will be valid until June 2028, it’s almost done on the player side. Dortmund will negotiate with Ajax next week and hope to get the deal done in 7 days.
5). César Azpilicueta, just waiting for Chelsea to give the green light to mutual termination of his contract. It’s the final step to let him leave the club immediately, up to the club. Inter have agreed to personal terms with Azpilicueta on a two-year deal waiting to sign soon.
6). Main part of the medical tests for Nicolas Jackson will take place today; Chelsea is finally checking contracts with Villarreal for €37m deal. The deal was completed on Friday and is now set to be signed as Jackson will be unveiled as a new signing soon on a very long-term contract.
7). No announcement this weekend or beginning of next week for Sandro Tonali to Newcastle deal due to some technical formalities; but the agreement is done. “Newcastle project is perfect for Tonali, he will be a key player for them”, his agent Riso says.
8). Arsenal have confirmed to West Ham their plan to submit one more bid for Declan Rice — after £75m plus £15m was rejected. Understand Manchester City is also preparing their official bid — the plan has not changed. Structure of deal/payment terms, key for West Ham.
