Jose Mourinho faced his worst ever defeat in his managerial career, as his AS Roma side lost 6-1 to Bodo/Glimt in one of the biggest shocks of European football. Bodo/Glimt are Norwegian minnows who now top the group C, with Mourinho clearly of the opinion that his opponents were of “better quality” and he fielded players who should not be demanding to be in the first team. Carles Perez pulled one back for the Italians, however, the team for Norway had a goal fest in the second half to down the Romans.
Europa Conference League Results: Spurs under pressure
Nuno Espirito Gomes already faces the pressure of European football, as Spurs lose 1-0 to Dutch side Vitesse, another blow to Spurs hope of qualifying for the knock out stage of the Conference League. It was expected to be a routine win for the English side, who were dominated by the Dutch side in the attacking sense, and now face crucial tests, as they languish in the 3rd position in the group table, with 1 win, 1 draw and a loss to their name.
Europa Conference League Results: Other Results
In other results, Dutch giants Feyenoord ran out 3-1 winners against German side Union Berlin in a comfortable victory. Another renowned team in Europe, Swiss side FC Basel, also had a comfortable evening, as they recorded a 3-1 victory over AC Omonia. There were some surprising results, as Danish side FC Copenhagen lost to the Greek giants PAOK in a 2-1 win for the Greeks. Zorya Luhansk managed their 1st victory of their campaign in a 1-0 victory over CSKA Sofia.

UEFA Europa League will be broadcasted live in India on the Sony Entertainment Network, streamed live on the SONY LIV App. UK fans can catch the game on BT Sport, who are the official broadcasters of the UEFA Europa League in the United Kingdom. The games will be broadcasted live on CBS Sports Network and Univision (for Spanish viewers) for the United States.
