England’s Manager Gareth Southgate plans to reveal his 26-man England team over the coming weeks as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar approaches quickly. Although Gareth Southgate has already submitted his 55-man provisional squad to FIFA on October 21, 2022, he has chosen not to make a complete announcement since the contents of that team are not needed to be made public.

The England manager now has until November 13th to trim his team down to the final squad of 26. Reportedly, Gareth Southgate has included some wild names in his 55-man Provisional. Reece James’ knee injury suffered against AC Milan in the Champions League earlier this month puts him at the greatest risk for England.

Due to the injuries to Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who are question marks before the selection but may make it in if fitness permits, England has also gone from having a surplus of right-backs to having a dearth of them.

The Problem not only lies there, at the Euros, Kalvin Phillips and Declan Rice made a strong relationship, but since moving to Manchester City, Kalvin Phillips has struggled with injuries and is unlikely to be fit for the tournament in time. Emile Smith-Rowe of Arsenal is likewise probably going to be sidelined because of groin issues from the 2022–23 season. Here is our England provisional World Cup Squad.

Raheem Sterling, Buyako Saka, Declan Rice, Jordan Pickford, Phil Foden, and Mason Mount are just a few of the players who have been a constant over the previous 18 months. Harry Kane will lead the charge and assume the armband.

Despite missing England’s September round of matches, Manchester United stars Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford are probably going to get a seat on the plane due to their previous performance. Along with Ivan Toney of Brentford, Callum Wilson of Newcastle, and James Maddison of Leicester City have also made a strong case for selection.

Fikayo Tomori of AC Milan, Kieran Trippier of Newcastle, Eric Dier of Tottenham Hotspur, Japhet Tanganga of Tottenham Hotspur, Nick Pope of Newcastle, Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund, John Stones of Manchester City, Conor Gallagher of Chelsea, etc are some of the few players to also get a seat on the Plane to Qatar.
