Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona has passed away at the age of 60, various reports in Argentina confirm. Diego Maradona’s cause of death has been found out now.

Maradona is widely regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time, and by many as the greatest ever. He was one of the two joint winners of the FIFA Player of the 20th Century award.

The legend played for Boca Juniors, F.C Barcelona, Napoli and Sevilla. He was regarded as a Napoli legend for whom he made the most appearances.

Diego Maradona  played in four FIFA World Cups, including the 1986 World Cup in Mexico where he captained Argentina and led them to victory over West Germany in the final, and won the Golden Ball as the tournament’s best player.

The reports in Argentina suggest that Maradona has died of a cardiac arrest. He was only 60 years old.

Diego Maradona’s cause of death has been regarded as a heart attack and he died at his home, his lawyer said. He had gone through a brain surgery for the removal of a blood clot in his brain just two weeks ago.
