The Tweet was backed by senior team players like Raheem Sterling and Aymeric Laporte. The French centre back Laporte further tweeted: “Horrible news…RIP young man.”

Wisten was Born in Malawi and then moved to England. In 2016 he joined U-13’s academy team. The reason of death of the former Manchester City player Jeremy Wisten confirmed by multiple sources is that the player took his own life after being released from the club.
