Chelsea’s Predicted Lineup Vs Manchester United

Chelsea Predicted Lineup
Chelsea predicted lineup

Chelsea are all set to face Manchester United  in the gameweek 6 of premier league this weekend and here we tell you their predicted lineup which Chelsea are most likely to play. Chelsea played a draw against Sevilla in the midweek with both the teams failing to score and Edouard Mendy was back in action after the injury he suffered during international duty. A big relief for Chelsea with their new goalkeeper being fit again. Kepa had again put on a horror show last weekend against Southampton where they had a 3-3 draw.

Both Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech are back from injuries and are likely to feature this weekend.

Chelsea’s Predicted lineup and formation

Coming to the formation that Chelsea might put in against Southampton, we think that they might go in with a 4-2-3-1 formation with Edouard Mendy  in goal. So, Kepa will start in goal, followed by Reece James on the Right Back position .

The two centre back positions will see two from Kurt Zouma and Thiago silva start. Zouma will start on Left Centre Back, while Thiago will play as a Right Center Back

Ben Chilwell wil be seen on the left back spot again.

When we talk about the midfield Jorginho will again start. Ngolo Kante will partner Jorginho in the center of midfield.

Lampard faces a tough call in midfield but Mason Mount could drop out with Hakim Ziyech coming in to make his first start.

He has now returned to full fitness following a knee injury sustained in the 1-1 draw with Brighton in pre-season.

The Moroccan could start on the right, with Christian Pulisic on the left in a 4-2-3-1.

Kai Havertz should play as the No 10 behind danger man Timo Werner, who is looking to build on his brace against Southampton.

Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi could prove to be appealing options from the bench with competition for places incredibly high.

So the predicted lineup will stand as follows if they play a 4-2-3-1 formation

We’ll see Eddouard Mendy in goal.

RB- Reece james

RCB- Thiago Silva

LCB- Kurt Zouma

LB- Ben Chilwell

CM- Jorginho

CM-Ngolo Kante

CAM- Hakim Ziyech

RW- Kai Havertz, who will be switching places with Werner and Ziyecht for a more central role at times.

ST- Timo Werner

LW- Christian Pulisic
