Burnley predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace and Team News

Burnley will wait on the fitness of Charlie Taylor ahead of this weekend’s Premier League game with Crystal Palace.

The Clarets left back has an Achilles complaint and although Sean Dyche expects the 27-year-old to be fit, the decision will be a late one. Should the former Leeds man not recover than Erik Pieters is in line to play having overcome an injury of his own.

Burnley  boss Sean Dyche will also be able to call on Phil Bardsley who has missed a month of action after a positive Covid test before picking up a knock.

But Dale Stephens is not expected to be fit while Robbie Brady and Johann Berg Gudmundsson have returned with minor injuries and will be assessed ahead of the game.

Gudmundsson played 72 minutes for Iceland in their European Championship play-off defeat to Hungary but did not feature in either Nations League game.

One boost for Dyche is that captain Ben Mee, who returned to the fold for the first time this season against Brighton last time out, has come through training with no issues and is set to feature.
