Burnley vs Manchester City Preview

City just have 12 points from 8 games making this their worst start to a Premier League season since 2008-09. City are are 8 points behind League leaders Tottenham.

City have won their last 6 home games against Burnley by an aggregate score of 24-2, including three successive 5-0 victories. Man City could become only the second team in the history of English football and the first since 1907 to win four consecutive home games against a specific opponent by 5 or more goals.
Burnley’s 1-0 win on Monday night over Crystal Palace was enough to lift them out of the relegation zone, ending what had been an eight-match winless run. Sean Dyche’s side are without an away win since July and also have failed to score in away games since October when they only got 1 point each from 0-0 draws against West Bromwich Albion and Brighton & Hove Albion.
