Salah, Ings lead the way for the best Premier League strikers

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has unsurprisingly scored the most number of goals this season, followed by Southampton’s Danny Ings. Two Spurs players make the list.

Bruno Fernandes would have featured on the list, but the Manchester United playmaker is not a forward. Sadio Mane, Heung-Min Son, and Mohamed Salah are all not traditional strikers, but have been included because they play as forwards.

The race for the Premier League golden boot is incredibly tight this season. Four players are tied at the number 1 spot, and it looks like the race for the title of Premier League’s top scorer will go down the wire this season.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Tottenham Hotspurs’ Harry Kane, and Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy are all tied at the spot with 8 goals in the 2020/21 Premier League season.

Leeds United’s Patrick Bamford and Spurs’ Harry Kane share the second spot with 7 goals seach.

Looking at the stats, Mohamed Salah has undoubtedly been the best striker in the Premier League this season. The Liverpool winger has scored the most goals in the calendar year of 2020 and also leads the race for the 2020/21 Golden Boot.
