Arsenal vs Leeds United Team News

Mohamed Elneny has tested positive for COVID-19 and is self-isolating therefore will miss this fixture.

Thomas Partey who got injured in the Aston Villa game stayed in London during the international break to get fit. However, it is not yet known whether the tough-tackling midfielder will be available for selection against the Whites, with Arsenal not having yet issued an update on his condition.

Arteta does not appear to be short of options to potentially replace Elneny. Some supporters have implored the Arsenal boss to hand Joe Willock his first Premier League appearance of the season.

Meanwhile, Dani Ceballos is also a name that will surely be considered. Granit Xhaka and Ceballos are likely to partner in the centre of midfield against Leeds.

Arteta may not make a raft of changes following the defeat to Villa. But there may also be one swap further up the pitch involving Willian.

Nicolas Pepe might get a start as the winger as he looks in great form following his double in the Europa League.

Leeds Will be looking towards Patrick Bamford for goals in this fixture, he has 7 goals in 8 games.
