Aubameyang completed the rout for Arsenal, converting from close range off a cutback from Cedric Soares who crossed into the box after beating Lewis. On the other hand, Southampton experienced the high of defeating champions Liverpool, before succumbing to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, thanks to goals from James Maddison and Harvey Barnes.

Arsenal will have a full squad to choose from, given defender Pablo Mari is expected to return from a calf injury later this month. Arteta will be fielding a strong playing XI against Southampton, who prefer a high-pressing game and defeated Liverpool at the St. Mary’s earlier this month.
