Arsenal knocked out of the Europa League by Olympiacos
What came as a shocker to Arsenal fans, Arsenal has been knocked out of the Europa League, courtesy Olympiacos! The Gunners beat Olympiacos 0-1 in their away fixture and looked to comfortably win at home.
But what came at Emirates can be called excellence by Olympiacos. Olympiacos’ Pape Abbou Cisse scored to take the aggregate score on level terms with Arsenal 1-1. It is usually said, Arsenal’s biggest enemy is Arsenal itself!
When the game reached extra time, the intensity in the game increased. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a beautiful overhead kick at the 113th minute. The score went to 2-1 on aggregate with just 7 minutes remaining in the game. When everyone thought the game as over, Georgios Masouras delivered a beautiful cross to El Arabi who netted the goal. The score became 2-2 on aggregate, with Olympiacos winning through away goals. Berd Leno left stunned at the 119th minute.

He missed an easy chance at the 123rd minute which he should have scored. Arsenal officially knocked out of the Europa League.
Arsenal have 11 more games left in the Premier League and a top 6 is important to qualify directly in the Europa/Champions League. Mikel Arteta has a big job at hand.
